I would like to give a BIG Shout Out to Bama RV & their team members in the service & parts departments. The team members are: CJ Johnson, Allen Hill, Melinda Stewart, Nick Chavers, & April Mills. I bought a Durango Gold 5th wheel in 2022 from the previous dealership. I had an issue with my Surburban Furnace 4 weeks ago which was (is) still under the 2 yr. bumper to bumper warranty agreement. KZ (Thor Industries) nor Surburban wanted to honor the warranty stating it was my fault due to a faulty regulator due to low propane gas pressure without even taking a look at the furnace. They made the determination by looking at a photo. Yes, a photo! Bama RV service department would not take "No" for an answer & fought to ensure I was taking care of. CJ, the service advisor, was happy to call me to let me know that the warranty was going to be honored. These people listened & felt every ounce of my pain & anger without saying ANYTHING back. I have not bought an RV from them but if I ever buy another, I will definitely make them my 1st choice because..... I know from Experience how good their service & parts dept are. Thank you, Bama RV, for putting together such a wonderful team & having a "Top Notch" service dept. Alan. FYI: It was NOT the regulator; it was a faulty gas valve found by the service dept.

We traveled 8 hours from Tennessee and passed quite a few RV dealers on the way. None of them can hold a candle to the folks at Bama RV. The buying experience was simple and straightforward with no pressure at all! The price was the price we were quoted without any extra fees of any sort! Travis was great as was everyone else we dealt with. If you're in the market for an RV and don't go to Bama RV, you're nuts!

The acquisition of our new motor home from Bama RV was a very good experience. Terry Dyson's walk thru was very well done, as was Travis Collete's paperwork. We broke in our new Gemini on a quick trip to Florida where our new purchase broke us down. We were reminded of what can go wrong with new motor homes. Not to worry though, with much appreciated help from Kenny and especially Garret Thomas all of the "issues" were resolved much quicker than expected. Good job with the communication, professional knowledge, and due diligence in taking care of job one, the customer!

We were driving from Wisconsin to Florida when our check engine light came on and then we started having problems with our camper brakes in Alabama. We stopped at 2 GMC dealers who were not willing to help us. Just happened to drive by BAMA RV in Dothan and decided to see if they could help us with the camper brakes. They had someone check our vehicle right away and determined we needed a new brake controller. They installed it for us right away and so we could be on our way. They went over and above doing everything they could for us even though we were just passing through. (And our check engine light went off after we got the new brake controller)

Our experience with Bama RV has renewed my belief that there are still businesses out there that believe in taking care of the customer and establishing relationships that will last a lifetime. We purchased a very slightly used Coach, we had it a week and were getting ready to take it out on its first trip; but the back slide would not retract. My husband called and spoke with service for 30-45 minutes, and they coached him through some things that did not work. So CJ and Josh, actually got in their POV's that evening and spent 2 hours at our house replacing the motor for the slide so that we could stay on schedule for our trip. AMAZING service!!!! I was floored, I fully expected to have to cancel our trip and have to have our Coach towed in to service. But NO, they went out of their way, on their own time to give SPECTACULAR service. BAMA RV has us for life!

My husband and I were going on a quick weekend trip and needed a generator to use with our camper and I called and talked with Caitlin in Parts on Wednesday. She had one in stock that worked for our camper/needs and I asked her if I could pay her over the phone and pick it up on Saturday morning since we were 2 1/2hrs away and could not get there before they closed during the week. Caitlin explained that it is company policy to not accept credit card payments by phone and I understood her situation and asked if she could hold it until we could get there when they open on Saturday, since we were passing through on our way to Panama City FL. She was more than willing to do that. We got there Saturday morning and got the generator and extra oil, along with purchasing a cover for our Camper that we need later as well. Caitlin was great help and we appreciated her putting the generator and other items aside and saved for us since she was not going to be there. Thank you Caitlin for all of your help!

My wife and I purchased a new 2021 Coachman Freedom Express in January 2021 and we had Jason Reiley as our salesperson and it was his first day there selling and our first time at this RV Dealership. We want to say that "J" was really great and was very patient with all of our questions and also let us look at any of the campers so that we were able to select the right one for our needs. We had a problem with our 2021 Windsport after having it 2 weeks! Lynn, in the service department was extremely helpful in getting our home on wheels ready for our next trip! My wife and I where in the market for a camper and we looked around and found Bama Rv which had a Catalina 243 for sale, so we called about it and Anthony advised us that one was sold already, but he didnt hesitate and said before we got discouraged he had a catalina 343 which was slightly larger and with 3 slides instead of 2 and the exact same layout. Had a great experience @ Bama RV. From Travis walking us through a variety of campers for us to choose our best fit without being pushy to Brad who did our financial part and was very easy to work with he covered all our warranty different options and he also didnt try to pushing anything on us which I thought was great. CJ in parts went through the store and explained every thing we had to have to go camping for the first time and then he showed us things that would make it easier on us and some luxury things we could purchase if we wished. I am very impressed with the way Bama RV takes care of there customers. I drove 400 miles to buy a travel trailer, from Bama RV. And like most RVs there is always a few problems! As we where doing the walk through I found a few things that needed attention. I didnt arrive at Bama RV until afternoon.When Jesse a (technician)saw the problems he started working to correct them immediately! Jason the shop foreman was assume as well they both worked to get everything corrected before I left! Jesse keep telling me that he was going to make sure everything was in perfect working order be I left.And that is exactly what Jesse did.

They ask me to stay the night there on the lot, to make sure everything was fixed the way I wanted before I left.

I think you will find everyone there takes a great deal of pride in there work. And making you happy before you even leave.

While traveling from Michigan to Florida, we encountered a problem with the brakes on our 2020 Montana. Keystone recommended Bama for servicing. We did not feel comfortable towing 46 miles to the dealership, so contacted FMCA who towed us in. We arrived 5 minutes before closing time but instead of the staff deciding to leave for home, we had 5 people spending the next hour trying to figure out what was causing the problem. We were allowed to "camp" in their parking lot, and were offered 50 amp and water. The Tech got started on the issue first thing in the morning, determining it was the hydraulic pump that would have to be ordered. When that didn't totally correct the problem, they kept at it to figure it out. Lynn contacted the local Ford dealer and as it turned out, was a blown fuse. I can't state how much we appreciate the staff at BAMA RV, CJ, Lynn, Brian, Kevin, Jessie and Garrett. We HIGHLY recommend BAMA RV!!!

The sales person showed us multiple RVs, not just 3 or 4, and listened to what we wanted in an RV. Since we already had an RV, we knew what we liked and did not like and he used our comments to narrow down the selection. He was not pushy and allowed us to take our time. The price was very competitive and lower than most dealers. When we purchased the Avalanche, the service team of Jason, Terry, and CJ took time to make sure that we knew how to set up the RV and utilize the features of the RV. They were not in a hurry and allowed us to ask questions when we were unsure. We would definitely recommend the sales, finance, and service staff at Bama RV when anyone gets ready to purchase a new or used RV. We have also used them for service in the past on our old RV to add an a/c unit and they added the a/c unit without any problems, even though we did not purchase the old RV from Bama.

We recently bought a Winnebago travel trailer from Bama RV and had a great experience. This is our first RV, so besides some online research, we are brand new to everything that has to do with RVs. We stopped by one afternoon and were upfront that we had no intention of buying. Even knowing this we received fantastic service. We were shown around by Larry and he took the time to walk us through multiple models, educate us on various brands and had the knowledge to answer our many questions. It was great to be able to look and learn without having any pressure to buy. We were given time and attention. Once we did decide this was something we wanted for our family, the actual buying process was very well thought out. Bama RV was able to get things done quickly and accurately. We did the online application and from there we were in constant communication. It only took two days for them to do the paperwork and prep the travel trailer. On pick up day we did a walk through of the RV. The gentleman showed us how to operate every button and showed us every little thing we needed to know about the travel trailer. They then showed us how to hook up it all up to our vehicle. We then got help walking through the store to get the main essentials that are needed and followed that up with finalizing the paperwork. Overall it was a smooth process and an excellent experience. I would recommend Larry and Bama RV to friends and family. PS an added bonus to all this was the military discount.

I have known Eric M and Dave S since the worked at "that other place" and started Bama RV from scratch. They have done a good job building a quality dealership with good quality service, honorable and knowledgeable people. No BS from them. A special shout out to Travis C, salesman who has been with them from the start. I decided to order a Keystone Raptor 356 with options different from a typically ordered unit. No problem at all and and was the perfect liaison between me and management. We seamlessly arrived at an agreeable figure. Travis coordinated with factory reps to get updates and schedules. He gave me realistic information, not pie in the sky guesses.When the trailer arrived they took a couple of days to install slide toppers (3), and change out the undesirable solid steps to more user friendly older style folding and the dealer's PDI. They did excellent work. The Deliverery inspection I did with Jason was OK with good explanations of systems operations. Thanks also to CJ in service for coordinating the inspection. and Shawn the Service Manager for his help. Brad S the "finance guy" did a professional job and didn't push various add-ons. I want to thank the team at Bama RV for a great buying experience and working with honest quality professionals. I definitely will return to Bama RV for any future RV needs or wants.

We bought our Bighorn 5th wheel from Campingworld mainly due to them having many locations throughout the US, and was told we could take it to any of them to be repaired if necessary, as we travel extensively. That was a big lie! So I called Bama RV and explained we needed some warranty work done. Although we had a few hiccups, CJ Johnson stepped up and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied 100%. Took over five weeks to get paper work to get a tag, sales department did not get us to sign paperwork and did not call us to let us know, had to call them then took two days to get back so I called again before being told we did not sign. I told two people the day we picked the camper up we needed to sign and was told no it was ready to go. We also only got one front door key and have been promised a numerous time we will get you one, we have had the camper since May 21 still no key.

We have very mixed feelings about our purchase. Initially Drake was great, but we were disappointed when after being sick on pick up day he never called to touch base with us afterwards. I can understand he couldn't be there due to sickness but a quick text or phone call heads up would've been appreciated. Jerry was super nice during the walk around. There were a few minor things that didn't get done as he told us it would but he was beyond busy and was obvious he was wide open that day so that was not his fault. If it were not for CJ going above and beyond what was asked of him we would be much more dissatisfied overall. CJ was wonderful, he even assisted us in showing us the camper to seal the deal on buying it. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and personable. Honestly we feel as if he deserves the commission from our sale. Even after the sale CJ went above the call of duty. On day one our camper was not closed correctly and the slide broke one of our drawers. CJ was very calm and helpful on how to get things replaced. On our first trip the furnace would not come on and we were freezing, again CJ to the rescue. He stayed on the phone to troubleshoot and walked us through everything. Now currently I have been begging to get an update from warranty issues and can't seem to get a call back with any kind of answer. I have no idea if this will ever even be read but if it is I hope that proper credit may be given and hopefully some consideration to walk through's in how to better schedule them to not be so rushed. Also I don't believe our listed referral (Bobby Ellis) ever received his money for referring us to Bama and Drake

I looked at campers with Al and Drake, both were very helpful. Al showed me everything on the lot, and Drake re-showed me specific ones when I got cold feet! Both were low pressure, but very knowledgeable. The walk-through person, Terry, was excellent. He took the time to explain and show me everything on my new camper, including my new back-up camera! I have already recommended Bama RV to several folks at Church and work. All the folks at Bama RV were very helpful and patient while I assured myself i was buying the right camper. I used it all last week at the beach, and now I am even more convinced that I got the right one. It's so easy to use and drive!!

I purchased a camper on February 19 I live eight hours away it needed some warranty parts and as of today we are at May 10 I still have none of my parts I have nobody returning my phone calls the owner Eric stopped returning phone calls so Im a little upset and a little annoyed

Let me start off by saying that this was not my first purchase of a new vehicle of any kind. Yes, I have purchased in the past an RV so I can say that my experience is one that I can share with others. I live in Biloxi Mississippi and Bama RV is about 4 hours away one way. The drive was worth every dime of the purchase of the RV that I made. I try to do my homework when it comes to where I buy and who I buy from. So with that being said all I can say is I will save you some time. Bama RV and all of its staff are worth every minute of your time and money when it comes to purchasing your RV. The owner Dave worked with me and bent over backward to make things happen for me by working with every loan institution available. His tireless effort to get me the lowest interest rate and the comfortable payment plan was outstanding.

Now comes the part I hate the most with all dealerships and I am sure you also have dealt with them as well. The Finance Guy, you know the guy who has the personality of someone whose last job was the DMV. Not here Brad Smith was great, laid back and fun to work with. Great personality and not the typical hard sell type of guy. Answered all questions and explained EVERYTHING in a very professional simple language.

Like I said before I bought an RV Motorhome and when it came to the walkthrough part of the RV. Let's just say that the tech we had, Jeff was outstanding. No BS and straightforward, take your time and answered every question and then re-answered any questions that we still were not sure of.

We drove the unit home and you would think that it was over. No sir Bama RV made us feel like we were family. They called us to make sure all went well and invited us back to their new facility and stop in just to say hello. Most dealerships would be ecstatic with their sale and you would never hear from them again. No sales pitch of you got to come back just a new bunch of friends that wanted to see us happy with the purchase that we made.

P.S. No I am not on their payroll and everything that I stated was from the great feelings I got with working with some great people. So if you're like me and you hate the BS that comes with buying any kind of RV then all I can say is try this dealership after you have looked around and when it is all said and done see if I am right.

I can't say enough good about the folks here at Bama RV. We drove 5 hours from MS today, closed the deal on our new toy hauler, and Big Al offered to let us stay on the lot overnight with electric hookup. We did the whole deal over the phone, everything was exactly as described, and we couldn't be happier. The entire staff were very helpful throughout the whole process. Special thanks to Jason for a professional walk through, Brad for thouroughlly explaining finances, warranties, etc, Big Al for dealing with me, and several others whose names I didn't catch. These are great folks. Worth the drive. Prices are real, no "add-ons" here.

OUR ADVICE IS TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS DOTHAN, ALABAMA RV DEALERSHIP. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!!! The sales staff and the service techs are fine' the service manager is apparently the problem. If you can get him to return calls you are VERY lucky. We bought our RV new from Bama RV in March of 2016. The dealership was under new ownership and the sales staff was friendly. We paid for our unit outright so financing was not an issue; everything was good......until we needed service. Right out of the box, our slide would not open and close, requiring us to hand crank it manually (not an easy task for us). The slide should have been a no big deal warranty issue. After hauling the RV to Bama RV several times for service, which is a two hour trip both ways and tying up the camper for weeks at a time on each attempt to get the unit repaired, we called the manufacturer for help in getting the now out of warranty RV fixed. We were told by the manufacturer that there were no reported records of any problems with our slide. Apparently the service manager had never bothered to log the problem during our many attempts to get the RV repaired at Bama RV. Without this record, we stood no chance of getting the slide repaired under warranty. Realizing that our unit didn't stand a chance of getting repaired by Bama RV, we have taken it to a repair center in Prattville, Alabama. Hopefully they will be more professional than Bama RV. We are planning on buying a larger unit in the near future but would NEVER consider Bama RV. If they can't repair or service what they sell, WHY WOULD ANYONE BUY FROM THEM???

The service manager Shawn was unrealistic, dishonest and inconsiderate and as if that isn't bad enough, while our trailer was in for service money was stolen out if it and when I brought it to Shawn' s attention I just got excuses...overall my experience was awful and I feel betrayed and frustrated.

I have to say I was very impressed when we first visited the lot and even buying was easy, it was when we picked up the new unit things went down hill. We were double booked when we came to pick up our new camper so we did have a long wait. Then when we did the walk thru on May 31 there were a couple of things that were to be done but was not done when we left. (screen door was to be adjusted and the fresh water tank was to be emptied-neither was done) On that date there was a batten that was messed up right at where the couch would let out - knew it would be an issue so they were going to order me a replacement one - still do not have that and yes the batten did break and now is rubbing my leather couch. Then on August 15 I emailed some photos over to the service department. We had a cabinet door to break. It broke on the weekend of 8/4 but it took us until 8/15 to actually get thru to anyone that could help us - we tried several times the week before. I have tried on several occasions to see if the door and batten were in but again had trouble getting thru to anyone. I did finally talk to Denise who told me the door did come in but was broken so they had to get another one shipped. I called today to check on these items because my mom and dad were in Dothan and could have picked these items up for me but guess what - I called - got an answering machine so I left a message at 11 or so am EST and no one has called me back. Love my Winnebago but not so sure about this dealership. If anyone will give me an update I will be most appreciative.

I have tried to.contact owner..with no response..I am posting on Facebook and telling everyone that will listen about the experience I had with your salesperson..The one named Eric was the one we had a good encounter with..he was helpful and I was approved and he was willing to get me a good deal and I was ready to.purchase!! Then I had to deal with Larry..and this is what I got!!..Buyers Beware!! I recently shopped around for a Camper..should be fun experience right?? Granted I am ignorant when it comes to campers, i liked the prices and look of the campers at Bama RV. Well the Salesman at Bama RV talk to me just like that while trying to ask questions educate myself about campers and negotiate prices. According to him i shouldn't try to negotiate prices because "salesperson deserve a living too". So when I called him a jerk because of the way he talked to me..He physically threatened me. (Man threatens a woman) really?? I complained to the owner..got no response..so I guess it OK for the salesperson to treat his customers that way...I have all the texts and Voucemails..I want everyone to know about my experience

My wife and I looked for a new trailer from Pensacola to Tallahasse north and south. We dealt with some really bad salespeople at the other "national" stores and local stores. They all were pretty bad! We were talking to some friends and they told us about BAMA RV so we decided to take a day trip and check them out. Before stopping there we stopped at the "BIG" national store in Dothan to talk with a salesman that had contacted my because of my on-line searches. Needless to say everything the salesman had told me in text and emails was false information just trying to get us there. Not to mention the final price was almost $10,000 above the original sticker price on the unit!!! At this point I was ready to go home but we went to BAMA anyhow. We pulled up and Larry came out to meet us. First impressions are lasting ones and Larry made a good first impression. He showed us exactly what we asked to see and didn"t try to push us to a more expensive trailer. He explained every feature of the ones we were interested in and after he had shown us 5 or 6 units he said he had one that was just a little more exspensive but he thought it would be just what we were looking for. My first thought was "ok here we go" lol. Turns out he was right, my wife fell in love with it and it wasnt very much more in cost. The great thing was there were no hidden fees. What he quoted us is exactly what we paid. Jeremy in service handled our walk thru and even talked me through a problem on the phone on the way home (turns out it was just a short circuit between the steering wheel and the seat). Brad was great with the paperwork and the parts dept was great with any question about accessories I had. We will be buying our next one here when we decide to trade. If you are shopping for a new RV don't waste your time going anywhere else. BAMA RV is the only place to purchase an RV at or have any type of service done!!!!! Thank you Larry, Jeremy and Brad for making this a great buying experience!!!!!

We bought our RV second hand from Headland, AL. We had it a couple of months and we notice some water leak in the front part of the cab area. We took it to BAMA RV to have them to look at it. We were told it was holding water and mold was starting to make. So they did repairs to our RV. Mind you that when we bought the RV... the batteries and the generator .... everything was working on it. BAMA RV had to tear in the front part of the RV and replace the wood and vynal . We also had a back-up camera installed . We took it to BAMA around the first part of FEB 2017 .... we knew it was gonna take a while to work on it, but after a couple of months and not hearing anything , we started calling. We get the answer.... they are still working on it. We said in the beginning that we had to have it back soon we are taking it to see family members June 4. BAMA called last week said we need a cranking battery cause the other one had died. They also was suppose to clean it up, We picked it up today and it was dusty inside and still had wood chips in the RV. Well we got it home and my husband was checking it out getting it prep for our trip. My husband ended up having to go buy a battery for the generator. He got back home and the generator is not working either. I don't know what they have done.... but we are very disappointed. I am not through with this. More action to come .

There were issues with the title and tax process... since I registered the RV out of state. Instead of working through the problem with me, I was told it's not Bama RVs problem. When I requested additional information from the dealer to complete the paperwork, the person providing "assistance" was unreliable. It was clear that the sale was important, but not the service after.

This was my first RV purchase. Brad and Cindy were VERY patient............I must have had a 1000 questions and sent 50 emails. Great, fast communication. Brad cleared every hurdle I put in front of him to keep me from buying this unit. Excellent customer service. I drove just over 5 hours away. No one could touch their pricing. And the "no dealer fees" they advertise is exactly that, no fees!! No smoke and mirrors, no bait and switching of units. Robert was the tech who did my walk through and class on my unit and overall RV ownership. He's pretty much an expert and an RV owner himself. He knew all the small details about ownership like towing, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting etc.Transaction was smooth and painless. Easy financing, TONS of inventory. Fully stocked Pro Shop. They even install the hitches and brake controllers.I am VERY happy with Bama RV and they will be my first choice when we buy again.Jimmy

I knew that I wanted the Open Range 318RLS and I had quotes from Camping World dealerships in NC and Tn. Dave Chavers and Brad Smith beat the prices from those Camping World dealerships and had the exact model that I wanted in stock. These guys are honest down to earth folks who come to work in jeans instead of suits and ties. My kind of people. Terry Dyson did a great job on the walk through. Jeremy Thornton was a big help in transferring stuff from our old camper to the new camper. Shawn McCorkle was very helpful in getting slide toppers ordered. I love how the fifth wheel handles. We have camped one weekend in the new camper and everything worked as expected. It was 23 degrees our first of camping but we were very comfortable. The All Season Open Range unit is just what I wanted.

We just bought a 2017 Open Range Bunkhouse, we absolutely love it.Cindy our sales person worked really hard to get us the exact Trailer we wanted. Dave the owner is great could have been any nicer. I would recommend anyone to him. Brad in financing was great! The only complaint we have is that who ever does the cleaning did not do a good job, still had wood pieces all over and dried caulk on the floor.

I had a great experience making my first travel trailer purchase at Bama RV! I had been shopping around for about 6 months looking at many different brands at about 6 different places. Bama RV by far had the best sales staff. We dealt directly with the owner, Dave, for the sales part. He was very strait forward with me on the price, fees, and maintenance issues. No other salesman at any of the other dealerships ever mentioned any of the annual maintenance issues like replacing the silicon on the roof. When I went to pick it up, the final transaction went smooth thanks to Brad. Terry did a great job on the walk thru. He was very thorough showing me how everything worked. There was a mix up about the solar panels I wanted but my overall experience was excellent! I will definitely bring my Winnebago Minnie back to them for all maintenance and warranty issues, if I'm in this part of the country:-) I sure hope I never need any repairs but the 5 year extended warranty gives me piece of mind for my adventure.Brian Waller

Disappointed with owners attitude with fixing warranty items. They keep your RV for months and then when you finally get it back it isn't fixed and then they don't uphold their end of the warranty to fix the problems. We were told to leave even though our problem was not solved. We also had a light fixture cover that we noticed is missing when we brought the RV home and probably will not get a replacememt from the owner as we were told it could not have happened while they had it. To us the AWM968 Mobile Audio System is important but to the Bama RV owner it is "Just a Radio". We are paying our hard earned money for this 2015 RV and everything in it is important to us and we do not appreciate someone being VERY RUDE to a customer. With this type of attitude and being told to leave what are our options for our remaining warranty - hope no one else has this problem with Bama RV like we have.

We just purchased a new Sunset Trail Reserve Travel Trailer today and could not be happier. We looked at many different models and at several different dealers. Ultimately we found the perfect fit at Bama RV. The owners and their staff made the process easy and stress free. From the first time we visited their lot there was never any pressure or overbearing sales pitch. They allowed us all the time we needed to look at the various trailers at our own pace. They were friendly and knowledgeable about all their products. We bought our 2011 Surveyor SP293 in January 2011 from Bama RV. We researched & shopped for a travel trailer for 7 months. After visiting several sales outlets, we found Bama RV. They had exactly what we needed. They didn't try to oversell us or pressure us into buying. They understood my concerns about the limitations of our tow vehicle and recommended a TT to match it. After a year of towing, I've never had a bit of worry from this TT. Their customer service and willingness to help newbies is very comforting. They didn't try to sell us a TT that was 2500# heavier than our 2004 Tundra could safely pull. I had done enough research to know what the Tundra with towing package could safely pull. The other dealers always tried to sell us a TT that matched the towing capacity of the Tundra, without taking into consideration all of the extra stuff that you need to tow. They provided plenty of help with our new purchase.They worked diligently through a couple of manufacturer warranty problems and didn't leave us hanging. They have stayed in touch with us regularly to make sure we're still happy with our purchase is still meeting our needs.They've always been pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional.We strongly recommend Bama RV.
